We played a double header against the West Lake Thunder (saratoga springs area) on Wednesday night. We won 13 - 5 in the first game. The second game didn't count and was like a practice game. We ended up loosing the second game.
Coach Higg chewing out Nick. Coach Higg looked a little funny to me so I had to add this picture.
This picture is funny to me too because Jaren and Keyne are both totally in the air.
Remember the bunt that Karter got called out on? He looked really close to me!

I had to put this picture in too. I swear that this kid is a full grown man! Jens just comes to the top of his shoulders.
The Diamond Dawgs traveled to St. George for an Easter Tournament. The first two games were played in Mesquite. The next day they played their final two in Santa Clara. They came away with a 3 - 1 record. They played great and had a fun weekend.
Nic pitches a complete game to give the Dawgs the victory.
Jaren made the catch here and threw the guy out at second.
Cooper steals 3rd and is looking to score.

Nick tossed the ball to Jens and they got the kid out at first.
Coach Christensen giving Karter some advice on base running. Karter ended up stealing 2nd base in the next play.
Tyus with a hard hit single.
Coach Higginson wanting a better effort from the team. (they look like they're listening)
Karter on his steal to 2nd base.
Cooper hit a shot that went well over the left field fence! (and wins himself a new bat bag!)
Cooper greeted by the Dawgs following his home run.
We will be having a meeting on Monday, March 1 at 7pm at Coach Higginson's home. We will be going over all the information for Cooper's Town. We have information packets that each boy will need to have filled out and returned. We will also need to measure each boy's finger for the Cooper's Town ring. Call Amie Christensen at 423-9126 with any questions.
What a fun weekend! Great weather - great times at the ballpark - great friends - and lots of laughs! Jaren at catch and at bat playing against the Red Dirt Boys.
Cooper at catch
Look at how much bigger this kid sliding into 2nd base is compared to Jaren. I thought he was going get wiped out. But he didn't and he got him out. It was a great play!
The boys would love to sit and listen to Jeff, Brook and Travis tell stories. They were entertained by them for hours!
After the games the boys liked swimming and goofing off.
The outdoor pool is not heated at all in the winter time and it is ICE COLD! Jeff bet the kids a certain amount of money to see who could get in that pool and stay in it the longest.
The 2 remaining ones split the money.
Then they pretty much stayed in the hot tub for the rest of the evening.
On Sunday Brook, Amie and Abbie took the kids hiking on the red cliffs.
The kids went through the slot. Brook thought about it for a minute -- even tried it -- but it was too tight for his liking! He took the long way to the top with Amie and Abbie instead.
